Yeah for Book Give Aways in these Challenging Times

24/8 just completed its book give away of three copies of THE DUCHESS, thank you so much to Random House for making that possible.  We hope you have gone out to see this film that is receiving Oscar buzz.

A new book giveaway at 24/8 Book Club

24/8 has three copies of Amanda Foreman’s book, THE DUCHESS, which has been adapted for the big screen and premieres this Friday, September 19th.  Amanda has written other period novels as well and you should definitely take a look at her site to learn more about her work as author and historian.

To win the contest you must take the quiz in Blue Plate Specials.  The first three individuals that answer the questions correctly that are registered with the 24/8 site will be eligible to win a copy of this beautiful and powerful historical novel.
