Everyone is invited to this book launch. If you love to read and want to rub shoulders with the literary crowd in Chicago you will not want to miss this event. Not only is he a nice guy he throws a good shin dig.
The new book, Good People, is receiving industry praise, Publisher’s Weekly states, “Masterful…tops his previous two novels. A stellar performance.” And lucky for us, Marcus wants to share this special day with all of us.

It’s at the Book Cellar (4736 N. Lincoln), one of Chicago’s finest independent bookstores, on August 14 from 7:00 – 9:00. Wine, beer, and snacks are on me, and rather than a formal signing, we’ll just hang out and chat. Then at nine, I hope a lot of you will join me as we move the party down the road.
And if you are not lucky enough to be in Chicago for the launch he is going on tour. here are details for two upcoming stops in August and Portland. I’ll be at Book People in Austin on Friday, August 22 at 7:00, and at Murder by the Book in Portland on Monday, August 25 at 6:30.
