It was a cold night in the city of the Chicago but a full house came out to see the advanced screening of THE CURIOUS CASE OF BENJAMIN BUTTON.  On its face you knew this was something special from the trailers and itsstars Cate Blanchett and Brad Pitt.

This movie is a must for an Oscar nomination and if you are like me, and like to see those nominated films come Oscar night this is a must see.  I would not surprised to also see many nominations for those starring and appearing in supporting roles.

It is interesting to me that someone selected this story for the big screen,  it is definitely a bit unusual.  The result was a beautiful movie, with a mesmorizing soundtrack but with a very slow pace.  There are no surprises which contributes to the long feel but is was lovingly crafted and certainly one of the best films this year.  We will all have to go back and pick up a copy of the short story written by F. Scott Fitzgerald to see how this was adapted for the big screen.

24/8 would love to hear from you if you were present at the screening.  If you did not have the chance to see a trailer or the movie, you can visit the office website,  www.bejaminbutton.com.

We are so thankful to be part of this experience and look forward to the next one.
