our brave soldiers as the ensure we have a safe and free country.
you everyday in our hearts and thoughts.
those that have laid down their lives in this and past wars.
to honor our soldiers everyday.

My thoughts exactly.
I am thinking of all those in the past, and those at the moment who are serving for us. My prayers are with them.
I always heard about my father being in the Navy in WWII, but like many sons and daughters, never knew the details, becasue he never talked about it. When I was dismanteling my parents home, I came across letters from my father to mother during that time, and a diary that my uncle kept while he was at Guadalcanal.
